Kommissarie Mårten Späck har kallats till en brottsplats där regissören Harald Hamrell hittats genomborrad med knivar, gafflar, skedar och en högaffel. Till allas förvåning drar Kommissarie Späck slutsatsen att det rör sig om ett självmord. Späck ser kopplingar till andra självmord och konstaterar att kå(🔖)ren fått en galen seriesjälvmördare på halsen. Han kommer snart på andra tankar när hans råbarkade kollega Grünvald Karlsson hittar andra spår – något som leder till något större än vad de kunnat ana.
