In the early 20th Century, a handsome young man leaves a small family farm and becomes the mastermind of a rebellion that changes Ireland forever. Follows the events that led famine Ireland to free Ireland - the 1916 Easter Rising Rebellion and the driving force behind it, Seán MacDiarmada, hero to Michael Collins.

At the end of World War 2, Hungarian Jews are forced to a death march to the Austrian concentration camp Mauthausen. Only few civilians try to rescue the Jews.

After losing her parents and being left by her boyfriend, Bubblegum Teddybear moves from Kansas to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She rejects the dating life and lives in a ghost world, where she is fully aware that her life is a movie. Bubblegum is familiar with cinematic structure and tries to make problems for herself so that her movie can have a happy ending. Despite her best efforts, love follows her and pushes her genre ever closer to tragedy.
