Harry Parker in apartment 4-D reads a lot of pulp fiction and watches a lot of late-night TV. That lends an air of inauthenticity to the story he tells his wife in the morning about what happened at two A.M. It seems the blonde in 3-D needed him to play Sir Galahad. At two A.M., she has a man in her apartment. And he's dead. "Miss Elliot, I can't get involved in a murder," says Harry. "I'm a married man." But it isn't long before he finds himself helping her take the corpse down to the basement. Was the whole thing a dream?

The film opens in the year 1988 with the death of Mumbai's King of Dharavi (Asia biggest slum) Varadarajan Mudaliar. Following his death, the rival group goes on a rampage and we are introduced to Anna (Satyaraj) who takes the job of protecting Varadarajan's Dharavi in his hands and letting his son Vishwa (Vijay) to be brought up in Australia. Over there he leads a dance troop and falls in love with Meera (Amala Paul). Later, Vishwa finds that Meera is a Mumbai cop and she pretend to be in love with him just to know about the locality of his father. His father is later killed by the scums of Mumbai and how Vishwa avenge his father's death and how he leads the Dharavi people forms the rest of the story.

The true story of a French teenager rising out of the underprivileged suburbs through love, education and rap music. Regis is a culturally gifted boy who dreams of success for his rap band, but he must accept drug money for the sake of his project. Discovering Islam and love, he bears with the harsh loss and paybacks of delinquency, until he finds the strength to express himself through music and slam-poetry — and ultimately becomes a major artist of the French music scene.
